The development strategy for cathode materials in all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs) revolves around optimizing single-crystal structures and employing surface treatment technologies. Single-crystal cathode materials offer improved ion diffusion and electrochemical stability. Surface treatments, such as coatings and doping, enhance interfacial stability and ion transport kinetics. Interface engineering further improves compatibility between cathode materials and solid electrolytes. These strategies collectively aim to enhance battery performance, safety, and longevity, paving the way for the widespread adoption of ASSBs in various applications.
